Player Ken Anderson. I think he was a better QB than some of his peers that are in. Coach Dick Vermeil 3 different teams to playoffs, 2 different teams in different eras to Super Bowl. Won a title with the Rams.

Watching Powell on film is like watching Len Ford with those 1950's Browns teams...it's like a present-day player transported back in time. I agree that peak Powell is probably better than peak Maynard, but Maynard was unique in that he was a speed WR who was incredibly productive after he turned 30. Powell's career essentially ended when he turned 30, and Maynard put up his best seasons from age 30-33. They were both unique WRs.

From what I've read about them, both Lavvie Dilweg and Verne Lewellen (yes, I have a bit of a "thing" for the Green Bay Packers [even though I have absolutely no connection to the place]).

I mentioned Verne Lewellen and Lavvie Dilweg in an earlier response but the person that I'd really like to see get inducted into the P.F.H.o.F. is Jim Tyrer. Sadly, that's probably never going to happen.

For me it would have to be Raiders wide receiver Cliff Branch.

501 Receptions
8,685 Receiving Yards (Led the league in receiving yards in 1974)
67 Receiving Touchdowns (Led the league in receiving touchdowns in 1974 and 1976)

Pro Bowl selection four straight years (1974 - 1977)
First Team All-Pro three straight years (1974 - 1976)

3x Super Bowl Champion

Just too bad he wasn't selected before he passed away.

I put Harold Jackson, but my second choice would have been Randy Gradishar. It's a travesty that he hasn´t been enshrined yet, as many in this forum had stated, he was one of the top ILB of his era year-in and year-out and a dominant player every year of his 10-year career.

Joe Klecko. That continues to be perplexing. I know different positions but, Russ Grimm is in. John Lynch is in, Jumbo Covert. A bunch of good receivers are in (who didn't really have many stretches of dominance) but Klecko is continually overlooked

Also I know it'll never happen because of how unpopular he was but these are Gastineau's sack totals 1980-1985

1980 - 11.5 (unofficial)
1981 - 20 (unofficial)
1982 - 6 (9 game season)
1983 - 19
1984 - 22
1985 - 13.5

That is a 6 year run of absolute dominance. Though he was one dimensional.

But I mean, 92 sacks in 89 games.
