My book

Post by Crazy Packers Fan »

Hi, I’m Tommy, I’m new here. I have self-published a book called Nifty Nineties: The Stories of an Amazing Decade in Pro Football History. It is a comprehensive look at the NFL on the field from 1990-1999. The majority of the book is stories of games from start to finish. Basically, nearly every important game from the decade is covered.

I couldn’t get it published mainly due to the size (300,000 words). Yes, I realize that the nineties aren’t that long ago, that researching them was easy, and that it is my first book. But I’d love to show it to you to see what you think! I’ve got some extra copies to give away, so if anyone wants to take me up on my offer, I’ll send one to you!

My next project is titled Great Eighties, the same concept but bigger and a whole lot better. It should be available sometime in May. Again, self-published, since it’s too long for a taker. I have thought about advertising in the Coffin Corner, but not even my masterful Microsoft Paint skills can put together a good ad.

Anyway, let me know if you’d like one, and we can privately figure it out. Thanks!

I'm interested in it. I'm a Jets fan. They had a couple good games in that decade. I'd like to read your comments on those games. Your rankings and thoughts on other games and years would be good too. Of the four NFL decades I have experienced, I did like the 1990s more than the other three.

Since I’m a new user, I’m not allowed to PM yet. If you’d like a copy of my book, email me at packersfootball3@yahoo.com and we can arrange it.

I can say this is a good book on the 1990s. When I find time to do a brief review, I will post it here and/or at Amazon.
