Not sure where to post these deaths. They are from 2012 and 2015.

Bob Van Doren - 1953 SF 49ers died on 6/13/2012.

Jack Bullas Smith - 1942 Phil Eagles died on 6/6/2015

I think "Jack Smith" who played for the Eagles in 1942 and the Redskins in 1943 (and the Los Angeles Mustangs in 1944) is someone playing under a fake name. Where the middle name Bullas came from is beyond me.

First, there no Jack/John Smith from that era at Stanford. He allegedly went to to Glendale High School. All I can find is a halfback (the NFL player is an end-tackle) at Glendale JC in 1941.
