Well, my Vikings released Kyle Sloter and now he's on the Cardinals practice roster. They only kept Cousins (obviously) and Sean Mannion on the roster with Jake Browning on the PR. I am absolutely perplexed and disappointed by this. I can't for the life of me understand why they couldn't find a spot for him. I hope they regret this bonehead move...but not too much.

I’m a Vikings fan and I’m surprised you have them finishing first because it seems all of the TV *experts* put Green Bay on top, which is ridiculous. I think it may come down to the wire between Minnesota and Chicago.74_75_78_79_ wrote:My ’19 standings/playoffs predictions...

The whole Vikings kicking fiasco has me concerned. Bailey has a bad day so they trade a 5th round pick for Vedvik. Vedvik hits a slump so they waive him instead of keeping him as the punter. Then they waive punter Wile and pick up Colquitt. I think as an organization both Spielman and Zimmer must be on the hot seat this year to have so little patience.

Re: 2019 NFL Season Discussion Thread
I’ve seen some talking heads on NFL N tout the Vikes as real SB contenders if everything breaks right. Magazines, which go to print months ago, mostly pick the the Bears. I think I saw one that had the Packers finishing first.
Edit: Peter King also picks the Pack to win the division.

Vedvik landed with the Jets and I'm absolutely terrified of him having to make big kicks for us. Surprised Minnesota kicked him to the curb after giving up a 5th. Odd

Re: 2019 NFL Season Discussion Thread
Graham Gano is already on IR for the entire 2019 season. Other than Alex Smith, how many other players of note are already going to miss the entire 2019 season?

Not 100% on these but...Rupert Patrick wrote:Graham Gano is already on IR for the entire 2019 season. Other than Alex Smith, how many other players of note are already going to miss the entire 2019 season?

Jason Pierre-Paul (possibly)
Lamar Miller

Jerick McKinnon
Derwin James
Corey Coleman

There are other Bronco fans who kind-of make fun of Sloter. They also think that Siemian was actually kind-of good (lol). One even said that he is the best QB Denver had since Manning.JohnH19 wrote:Well, my Vikings released Kyle Sloter and now he's on the Cardinals practice roster. I've seen a lot worse QB's than Trevor Siemian. Below average starter but not a disaster. As a backup...quality backup7DnBrnc53 wrote:There are other Bronco fans who kind-of make fun of Sloter.
