Earlier today in Redwood City, CA I saw someone in the grocery store sporting a mid 90's Shane Conlan Rams jersey. I don't think that will be topped.

During the HOF ceremony, the Buffalo News reported that someone was spotted wearing a Conlan Bills jersey. Someone else was spotted wearing a Mike Hollis jersey….Mike Hollis? He only played for the Bills for 1 year. Someone else was wearing a Leonard Smith jersey…at least Smith was a fan favorite when he played…even though he hasn't played for 23 years.

Mike Hollis went to HS in WA, if I ever had a favorite non-Seahawks kicker it was him, when he was with the Jags.

Weirdest jersey I saw was about a year ago, a neighbor was wearing a Michael Floyd Reebok Cardinals jersey. You guys can figure out why that was weird - besides evidently being a Cardinals fan in a neighborhood where every house has a 12 flag.

Weirdest jersey I ever wore myself. Found my Frank Reich Panthers jersey in my closest and wore it to my HS's girls basketball game, five years after he played for the Panthers . . .

While running the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington D.C. in 2012, I saw someone wearing a Doug Dieken Cleveland Browns jersey. I'm fairly certain I wasn't hallucinating at the time, and I would hope that if I was, my hallucinations would be more interesting than that.

A few years ago, I saw a Karl Hankton jersey worn by a *Shop Rite employee. This particular Shop Rite is located in Toms River, New Jersey.

*My mom works at that one. Employees are, or were, allowed to wear NFL jerseys on football Sundays.

Oh. This is good because it was so bizarre. At the 2012 Hall of Fame Induction ceremony some guy was wearing a Curtis Martin Pitt jersey with number 28. I do not believe he ever wore 28 at Pitt. Also, this was a custom jersey. It was definitely not an official jersey. The NCAA does not sell jerseys with surnames on them anyway. I think this guy wanted a college jersey of Curtis Martin but was unaware of what number he actually wore there.

I wonder if there's a custom-made-by-mistake #16 Montana Chiefs jersey? I've already seen a Jack Lambert Steelers jersey in the recent post-'96 style (pretty lame). Wonder if any Seattle Franco Harris jerseys were available in early-'84?

Not really obscure, just strange: In 1985, the USFL Baltimore Stars retired Johnny Unitas' #19--you know, because he played for them.

I've seen several Seahawk fans wearing the jersey of obscure third-string quarterback of the Jack Patera era Sam Adkins.

I work in the construction business in Mexico City. About 5 years ago, one guy who came to sign his house mortgage wearing a Jacksonville Jaguars' Kevin Hardy jersey. Although Hardy was a Pro Bowler and All-Pro in 1999, the Jaguars are (unsurprisingly) one of the least popular and even known teams in Mexico. I asked him how he got his jersey. He claim that his brother-in-law, who emigrated to Florida, send the jersey to him as a gift and he liked it (he also admitted that he didn't saw Hardy play).

I bought an LA Dons jersey off Ebay and it arrived yesterday. It''s number 15, which I don't think was for any particular player, and of course it has no name on the back.

I almost like Paul Lukas of the uniwatch blog in that I hate that. I'm a Redskins season ticket holders and I've seen many Sonny Jurgensen #9 in the 1979-to current style.

Rupert, I have that same jersey. I love it, but it is enormous on me! I have also worn a variety of Saints jerseys at various times of players known only to Saints fans. And a Pacers George McGinnis jersey.

I haven't seen anyone wearing one but there's a local store that has a few Matt Flynn Seahawks jerseys on their discount rack.

Not the same thing, but I'm very proud of the "Duluth Eskimos 1926" T-shirt that my oldest daughter gave me for Christmas some years ago.

Also somewhat off-topic: I frequently see a homeless man wearing a Dallas Cowboys' jacket that's dirty but in very good repair. He told me he found it in a dumpster!

I have an authentic Casey Wiegmann #60 Bears 1998 training camp jersey.

Bought it years ago and no idea why now, as it is huge on me.

Will trade : )

Bronco fans from a 2010 tailgate sporting the jerseys of decades-retired quarterback Steve Tensi and kicker Jim Turner.

OK, I got y'all beat:

Authentic Bjorn Nittmo, #3 jersey of New York Giants replacement, left-footed Sweedish kicker for the last 6 games on 1989, that David Letterman made somewhat noteworthy with his recurrent, "Who do you think you are, Bjorn Nittmo?" comments at that time.

Has to be one-of-a-kind.

Saw this crappy 1995 Starter Kordell Stewart jersey at the end of the Steelers game yesterday. Chinese knockoff jerseys look better than this.

I once saw someone sporting the jersey of former Giants kicker Ali Haji-Sheikh while vacationing in Jerusalem.

Yeah, that's the winner!

Those kinds of plays were expected."
