The '68 Colts immediately come to mind as do the unbeaten Patriots team and the Rams team that lost to NE. Good picks on early 70s 49ers and the '76 Patriots.

I would include 1980 in that as well. Their 1978 and 80 teams may have been the best that they had in that era.
