Redskins Training Camp 1976

Post by nicefellow31 »

While looking for some video on Diron Talbert, I came across somebody's home video of the Redskins Training Camp in 1976 in Carlisle, PA. There is no sound, but you'll see many recognizable players if you're old enough to remember who they are.

John Matuszak lasted less than two weeks in this camp after having been acquired by the Chiefs in late August. George Allen reportedly responded to a comment about why the Tooz was cut by saying, "Vodka and valium: the breakfast of champions."

Is #12 Randy Johnson? He played for the Redskins in 1975, but in 1976 went to Green Bay.
