Without looking it up to confirm- Texans at Bills 2003. I was at this game. Buffalo's third straight game without a TD.
Correct! I always thought that 2-3-3-2 line for the Bills was hilarious. (in a sad way) The second safety was Andre Johnson taking a direct snap in punt formation and doing an about face and sprinting back into his own endzone to run out the clock and take an intentional safety for the Texans. I remember my brother and I were in the same fantasy football league at the time. He had Andre Johnson on his team and he was furious about Johnson’s -34 rushing yards on that play.

Johnson scored the only touchdown that day. He caught a slant from Tony Banks and broke through the attempted tackles and went 46 yards for a score.

This game was the first regular season game I attended and, if I recall my own article correctly, the only game with touchdowns scored in it that got mentioned in the games with no touchdowns Coffin Corner article.
