Past media guides online?

Post by Faberama »

Hi everyone, this is my first post since joining. My computer was killed by a virus and I'm trying to find some of the sites that I had saved. I've found the sites with the Broncos and Cowboys media guides but I can no longer find the site with all of the Seahawks media guides. Was it removed? Are there any other teams that offer their past media guides on line? I'd be thankful for any help.

Here's the Seahawks:

The Lions used to have them back to about 1971, but that appears to have been removed.

This site has all of the Jaguars media guides:

https://www.jaguars.com/media/mediaguide

I know a number of the Colts media guides are available going back to the late 1970's, but I can't remember how to get to them.

Here are some past Vikings media guides:

https://www.vikings.com/news/media-guides

Raiders media guides going back to 2006:

https://www.raiders.com/media/media-guides

I know a bunch of the Chargers media guides from the 2000's are available online, but I don't remember how to get to them.

I think I have just about all of the team media guides from about 2012 forward, except for the Falcons for the last couple years, because they no longer produce a media guide as we know it, but they keep their team information online in such a way that is not really downloadable.

I also have pdfs of the NFL Record and Fact Books for 2006 and 2009 thru 2018; needless to say, if anybody out there should have any R&FB pdf's for other years, please pm me as I would love to have them.

I don't really have anything to offer you but I wanted to add that in 2015 I made an appointment to do some researching at the PFHOF. In their research room there was a bookshelf with every media guide for every team. Boy, I tell you, I had the biggest grin on my face when I saw that. Only regret was I didn't have enough to time to read all of them.

This page also has links to all of the Dolphins pre-season and regular season gamebooks. I already have all of the Dolphins regular season gamebooks, but the preseason gamebooks are a find.

I am still seeking 1,009 regular and postseason gamebooks for NFL and AFL from 1960 to 2018; I've got the rest of them and have nearly 13,000 total. I also have complete seasons 1991, 1992 and 1998-2018. I am waiting to incorporate the pre-season gamebooks for a few teams into the database before I am ready to make these available, but I do have a spreadsheet listing what I still need. Anybody who is in possession of a lot of older gamebooks or went to the Hall of Fame and got copies of gamebooks that haven't been added to the PFRA database in the last couple years or who wants to see what I am looking for, let me know.

Not from teams online, but let me know anything you're looking for - other than everything in the world - I I can check my hard copy (you know, non digital) collection.
