Sabol. He probably had as much of a hand in the growth of NFL Films as his father. If not more.

The very fact that Steve Sabol is on this list and is not the first person to be considered is an indication that the entire program stinks.
With the possible exception of Pete Rozelle, who has ever been more qualified as a "contributor" than Steve Sabol?
The entire thing is a joke and simply takes away a spot from an otherwise deserving player.
There are those here who like to bend the knee to anything the Canton facility dictates and who are afraid to make waves
among a group of voters who do not care a fig for them... but... it simply stinks.
After Sabol, the distance to the next candidate would make the Grand Canyon seem like a layer of ice on the Amazon
and that would be pretty darn thin.

Sabol and George Young are the only worthy HOF picks from that list.
