The Cult of Tyrod continues ...
"Gentlemen, it is better to have died a small boy than to fumble this football."
Re: Tyrod gets the W
This reminds me of that one time when Bruce Arians was named the NFL head coach of the year in a season in which he recorded 0 wins.

It was 48 years ago almost to the day that the Browns had another significant prime time win over the Jets.

Not in my books but what’s the definition of an official stat?rhickok1109 wrote:But does he? It's not an official stat, is it?JohnH19 wrote:Nuff said

An official stat to me is one that's clearly defined in the NFL's "Guide for Statisticians," which doesn't include QB wins. If such a stat were defined, I doubt that a win would be awarded to a QB who left the game when his team was trailing...just as a pitcher can't get the win if his team is behind when he leaves the game.JohnH19 wrote:Not in my books but what’s the definition of an official stat?rhickok1109 wrote:But does he?
