The In Memoriam page of the Bears 2018 Media Guide notes the passing of HB Brad Rowland who played in 1951 before going in to the military.

I can't find an obituary or any other mention of Brad's death at all.

He is still alive (not deceased) on his player page on NFL.com, although this can take a while to be updated.

Born Andrew Bradford Rowland on 14-Jul-1929 (NFL says 1928, but he is recorded as 8 months old on the 1930 Census), his younger brother, HB Justin Rowland, played for the Bears in 1960.

Anyway, it's page 231, the title page for the History section.

The list appears to be an attempt to chronologically list former Bears players (they missed a few) who have died since the 2017 Media Guide.

Brad Rowland is last on the list, below Joe Fortunato who died 06-Nov-2017, which would seem to imply that he died sometime in the July to November period last year.

There are public record hits for Brad living in Florida, but I can't find an obituary or any other reference to his death anywhere, which is a little odd for a former NFL player and member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
