If someone says they know pro football one of the quizzes I'll give them is "With what team did _______ finish their careers?" I usually start with Deacon Jones, Johnny Unitas and Joe Namath.
If someone draws a complete blank on those it's a good bet their knowledge is not as extensive as they think it is.
