He’s “crunching numbers” to come up with this list... which would exclude everything before a certain point. I would think the late 20s Packers would be pretty high on a greatest lines list too. The article was an interesting read. I think his methodology even shocked himself in that he had to “come to grips” with the fact that his #1 was actually #1. haha. Which makes me think his system is a bit flawed. But I’m a sucker for lists so whatever.Did I miss something? The Bears of the 1940s ... four HOFers, three championships ... this is why people should do their homework.
I liked the article. It was interesting to see the 1960's Browns and 2000's Chiefs OLs ranked so high, but they both had some great players. I always liked the Rams OLs of the 70's and 80's, because it seemed like no matter who they had at the skill positions, their offense would always score points.
