expanded non HOFer DE
Re: expanded non HOFer DE
What are your thoughts on Lyle Alzado? I think he gets overlooked in terms of being a player of substance. He played for an awfully long time and was effective throughout his career. He spent the majority of his career as a 3-4 DE, racked up sacks, and helped make very good defensive units in Denver, Cleveland & LA. And by the same token, those defensive units weren't nearly as good after Alzado left. How would you compare Alzado to guys like Harvey Martin & LC Greenwood?
