One Page Historical Schedules

Post by JohnBowen »

Surprisingly, I am finding it nearly impossible to locate historical schedules that are in a week by week format and on just a page or two. All the old preview magazines would have them. I do not like having to print multiple pages with just a week or two on the left part of the page when I know the information is out there somewhere in a more convenient format. Any suggestions? At this time, I am wanting the 1979 season in particular.

John,
I sent you a PM yesterday, I went online to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette for 4/7/79 when the 1979 NFL Schedule was released, and I copied the weekly schedule into two .jpg files. Since I cannot attach them in PM's, I would need your email address to send them to you. If you want them, open the PM I sent and respond with your email address and I will send them.

I forgot that ’79 started on a Saturday Night. At Tampa, just like two years later (Det the visitors in ’79, the Vikes in ’81). Perhaps they should have done it in 1980; they would have won another division title.
