A player on the winning team of this game would go on to play against Randy Moss, both on opposite sides of the ball, both as starters.

Took me a while to nail this one down. It's the Redskins-Vikings game of 1984. Joe Jacoby and Daryl Grant were the two linemen who scored. Archie Manning once faced Bobby Bell and Daryl Green once faced Randy Moss. Good one!

I thought I had it. In 1961, the Bills lost to the San Diego Chargers and Jack Kemp 28-10. Art Baker ran for 117 yards. But then I checked...and Willmer Fowler had run for 120 yards in 1960.
I wouldn't have mentioned my incorrect answer, Chris, but for the irony that you and I just saw Baker's jersey in the Buffalo History Museum earlier tonight.
It's the only known jersey remaining from the Bills first two years, when the colors were blue, silver and white.

I got stuck at the same point you did, so then I started cross-checking all the games Earl Morrall played against the Colts thinking that 1968 could constitute a 'league championship'.
