Let's try one of these with some real meat on the bone....

Staleys/Bears 1920-29
Bears 1933-42
Bears 1946-55
Bears 1958-67
6 World Championships, 2 perfect regular seasons and a stadium full of Hall of Famers.
I'll start with Sid Luckman at QB, Doug Atkins at DE and Gale Sayers at HB (no offense to Grange or McAfee) but I wouldn't want to try and pick the MLB (I'm sure many will say Butkus hands-down but I wouldn't want to be the one to tell Bill George that).
Dan Fortmann at Guard should be a lock and Bulldog Turner at Center seems like an obvious choice but George Trafton might disagree...
SO many GREAT players... but remember this is an All-Halas team, not an All-Bears team (so no one after 1967 should count).
Good Luck and have fun!!

Grange shouldn't be on here. His best seasons with Chicago came when in between Papa Bear's first and second run. Sayers only had 3 years under Papa Bear, but that's go on enough for me.
Mike Ditka
Bill George had a better career under Halas then Butkus did, though Butkus had the better overall career.

Butkus' career was split between Halas and Dooley to I would have to go with George for the purposes of this list.Bill George had a better career under Halas then Butkus did, though Butkus had the better overall career.
Trafton over Turner at center for the same reason. (more quality seasons under Halas than other coaches.)
Ken Kavanaugh should probably be one of the ends. Possibly Halas himself as the other?

Guy Chamberlin is in the Hall as an end... but I can't say that I've ever seen him play...ChrisBabcock wrote: Ken Kavanaugh should probably be one of the ends. Possibly Halas himself as the other?

Oddly, Wikipedia is listing Halas as a Tight End.
Someone needs to clean that up.
