Willie Lanier Question

Hey Guys,
I know that Willie Lanier was injured in his rookie season (1967) with the Chiefs. His concussion provided the impetus for his use of his trademark padded helmet. Does anyone know in which game of the '67 season Lanier was injured in? Also, do you know any particulars of his injury (i.e. who he tackled when he got his concussion, what quarter in the game did it occur, etc.)? Thanks for any help that you can provide.

An April 1968 KC Times article about Lanier says that he first was injured against Denver in the first quarter of the 10/29/67 game. A game account of that contest noted that Lanier "collapsed in the first quarter and may have a head injury." That 1968 article mentioned that he missed the next game, played in the next game and then was injured again against San Diego, then missed the rest of the year since the Chiefs were out of the playoff race.
