Then again, one could say that about Sterling Sharpe. But am thinking those two additional seasons will likely make a difference for Johnson.

If 1964 remains the record for yards in a season once he's eligible, he probably won't have to wait too long. But six years is a long time....

I think the selectors will begin to consider the health-related reasons accomplished players have for stepping away from the game.
