Hey Guys,
Please forgive me in advance, but my question deals mainly with college football. We all know that President Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 (a Friday). Does anyone know if any college football games scheduled for the following day postponed or canceled? Also, does anyone know where I can find the exact dates for all college football games (even Division II and Division III games) from 1963 to 1967? Thanks for any info that you can provide.
Sincerely,
Joe Zagorski

Re: JFK Assassination and football scheduling
Plenty of them were postponed and pushed back to either Thanksgiving or the next two Saturdays. Ohio State actually got all the way to Ann Arbor and then was told the game was postponed. Below is a database for D-I college football scores:

BTW, Wake Forest and North Carolina State actually played the night of the assassination.

According to the story at the link below, 30 college games were played and 40 were either cancelled or postponed.
