weird Mount Rushmores

In the sports talk show industry it is common to hear hosts discuss “the Mount Rushmore of NBA players” or the “Mount Rushmore of NFL head coaches.” A theoretical Mount Rushmore of NBA players would consist of the four greatest NBA players or the four most important ones.

I am not concerned with greatness of the players. I am only concerned with greatness of the names.

Mount Rushmore of Colored Players
By “colored players” I am referring to NFL players whose name contained at least one color. I am not concerned one iota about the quality of the careers. I am only concerned with the quality of the names. If it was about quality of career, then Jim Brown and Reggie White would be easy selections.

I did multiple Mount Rushmores based on places. I am pretty sure David Boston and Joe Montana made appearances but on different Mount Rushmores. I have a full list of 20-something Mount Rushmores at home. I will post more at a later time.
