Thoughts on Goodell, "State of the NFL"
Re: Thoughts on Goodell, "State of the NFL"
Why does the Super Bowl have to be an event totally devoid of class or soul? Why can't they aim high for a change? (I'm bracing for an improvised political statement today.)
Re: Thoughts on Goodell, "State of the NFL"
I agree, John. The presentation of the event is sterile and pretentious. There isn't anything about it that isn't over the top in a bad way. The endless half time show promos and watching the Lombardi Trophy being walked to the podium for five minutes are enough to make me wretch.
The game itself turned out to be pretty darn good, though. I can't imagine how the Falcons and their fans are feeling...oh, wait a minute...I'm a Vikings fan so I can imagine it.
