The Bills have had 17 players named Bill (and 10 Billys).
The Browns have had 19 players named Brown.

The 2011 Packers' roster contained an A.J. (Hawk), a B.J. (Raji), a C.J. (Wilson), a D.J. (Smith) and a T.J (Lang).

When I started following pro football, age eight, I was intrigued that the head coach and star player of the Cleveland Browns were both named Brown.

The Raiders played and defeated the Broncos five times during the 1994 calendar year. Three regular season games, one playoff game, and a preseason game played in Barcelona, Spain.

Between 1968 and 1975, with the exception of 1971 and 1972 (1971 when they did not make the playoffs and 1972 when they lost the Immaculate Reception game), the Raiders lost six AFL/AFC Championship games. In all six occasions, the team they lost to went on to win the Super Bowl.

Morten Andersen was 7 of 13 (53.8 percent) on field goal attempts of 55 yards or greater. All other kickers from 1938 to present are a collective 170 of 587 (29.0 percent) on FG tries of 55 yards or greater. There are still about 435 missed FG's for which I don't have the distance, and as I get more of those, that 587 number will only get higher and the 29.0 success rate will only get lower.

The Broncos have not had back-to-back losing seasons since 1971-1972, the longest such streak in pro football history. The previous record holder was the Dolphins, who went from 1970 to 2005 before they had consecutive below .500 seasons. Green Bay has not had consecutive losing seasons since 1990-91, and New England since 1992-93. Other streaks of more than 20 seasons include the Cowboys, who went from 1965-85, and the Browns went from 1946-73. The Giants went from 1925-46 and 1949-72, the Bears from 1920-51, and the Packers from 1921-47 and the Raiders from 1963-86. The Redskins also went without back to back losing seasons between 1969 and 1992.

Diana Ross and Beyonce are the only singers to sing the National Anthem and appear as the halftime act at the Super Bowl.

The aforementioned Jeff Feagles in 2003 wears #10 with the Giants. Next season they draft Eli Manning who wants #10 so he gives Feagles a trip to Hawaii. Feagles in 2004 wears #17. In 2005 the Giants bring in Plaxico Burress as a free agent. He wants to wear #17. So he also gives Feagles a trip to Hawaii.

Chad Brown, Willie Williams and Antwann Randle-El are drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers. All 3 leave as free agents. All 3 comeback years later.

Actually, Plaxico agreed to pay for renovations to the Feagles home, an outdoor kitchen, I believe. But Feagles said years later that Burress stiffed him; he never paid for the renovation.
