Here's a quick shot at it:

3) Marv Levy
4) Dan Reeves
5) Sam Wyche

9) Forrest Gregg
10) Ron Rivera
As far as I'm concerned, you can put the other 12 names in a hat and draw them to determine the rest of the order

Agree very much with your take. Top four of these coaches ought to be pretty universal amongst all of us as well as ranking quite high on a list of HCs who made the SB (win or lose) - period. I do think, however, that John Fox should be mentioned along with maybe being ranked higher than some of whom you mentioned. Getting his start under Chuck Noll with the '89 Steelers, he has led two different teams to a Super Bowl (and counting), quickly turning around each team upon taking over, and though defense is his specialty, otherwise ordinary QBs (Delhomme, Tebow) have been significantly more effective under his helm. Like Testeverde under Parcells, perhaps Jay Cutler's best years are ahead of him.rhickok1109 wrote:Here's a quick shot at it:

And how about seperating Lovie Smith from that bottom-pack as well. Propells Grossman to a Super Bowl and I'm sure enough he makes Bucs a playoff-regular had he not been prematurely dismissed.

Agree with the top 7, and then I'd go Magic 8 Ball on the rest.rhickok1109 wrote:Here's a quick shot at it:
