Walking across campus today, finally took a picture of this ... it can't hold up to the exhibit at the Minnesota State Fair last year in terms of style (IMO) but will last longer.
From The Scholars Walk* at the University of Minnesota:
* The Scholars Walk includes a Mercury 7 astronaut, a Vice President, a U.S. Supreme Court Justice, some sciency folks and Garrison Kielor.

Alan Page was the subject of perhaps the greatest NFL Films line ever written...from the 1977 Vikings season highlight film:
"Some felt defensive tackle Alan Page was more interested in studying
law rather than creating new ways to dismantle sweeps. Number 88 would
overrule such testimony"

IMHO, the single greatest individual defensive player in NFL history. I remember being outraged back in 1994 when the NFL snubbed him for their 75th anniversary team.

Every single one of the great Bud Grant era Vikings have had their reputations suffer because of the Super Bowl failures.

Krause certainly did. If he had been a Steeler, he would have been an easy first-ballot inductee instead of having to wait fourteen years.
