I have a notebook, somewhere, with notes from those. Cannot find notebook, needs some tidbits of information from Jimmy Johnson and Dave Wilcox profiles

Funny---no, this has nothing to do with Joe Thomas, it's for the Career years series---I get that Thomas is controversial, and I am not any kind of advocate, but when you look at the dynasties of that era---Cowboys (Schramm, Landry) Vikings (Grant and Finks) Steelers (Noll and Rooneys) the Dolphins have just Shula. They did come from somewhere and he did get Shula, and all those players, was part of Vikes, getting Tingelhoff, Eller, Marshall, others. then cut the dead wood out of Colts.

His 49ers failures were awful, and noted. But, he also brokered deal to get Debartolo the team, so there is that.

There are interesting names that are not often discussed, Rosenbloom, Klostermann, Thomas, that's the only point.
