The official ballot will be in issue #3 of the Coffin Corner and in the past we've used October 31 as the deadline. I"ll confer with Andy, chair of the HOVG committee, but it's likely to be around that date.Teo wrote: By the way, when is the deadline for sending our 10 selections?

Thanks for sharing the complete list - that was good reading. 2 of my nominations made it - that should make my voting easier.

Re: HOVG Class of 2016 Nominees
I just cast my ballot via email to Andy. This is my first year - is it typical to have 20 candidates on the ballot and have to vote for 10 (half)? I guess I wasn't expecting to have to vote for that many players, but I'm sure there must be logic behind it. Finally, what's the criteria to get in? Does the player need a certain percentage of the vote?
Thanks,
John

Yes. It is typical to vote for 10 of the 20 candidates. The candidates that receive 80% of the vote form the class for that year.TanksAndSpartans wrote:I just cast my ballot via email to Andy.
