He actually had four: as a rookie with the Redskins (53), both years with the Browns (60-61) and 1966 with the Eagles--when they went to the worthless Playoff Bowl. Finding good players who never, even once, experienced so much as a .500 season is pretty difficult.
Several years back on the old forum I proposed the category of "Best Players Never to Play in a Postseason Game" (Playoff and Pro Bowls excepted). That discussion came up with names like Butkus, Sayers, Manning, Wilson, and Nobis.
