that is a good one. I cut them off at 100 carries, and in that season he had a few more, but really, i should be so hard and fast. I will add if IYDM

I have him in 1987, I need to add 1988, good call. I cut carries off at 100, but 111 is not too much over my self-imposted limit. He got a lot ofr carries in the base offense as Thomas's caddy, though. A duel role guy like Banaszak in 1975 I will add IYDM

Definately a duel role late in season. Pete Banaszak in 1975 was a tough one, he was the short yardage guy and goal line guy. but he also carried a lot more than usual in the base offense.

As I mention is post, the great one were their own goal line runner, Marcus Allen, Payton, etc.... and some QBs were their teams short yardage and goalline.

It is interesting how a few former All-pros, Riggs, Bettis, Ottis Anderson adopted it at end of careers.

If you have to stick to criteria, then he would not be allowed but Johnny Hector was used in key short yardage situations. He was very good in those spots.
