NFL Network is reporting that he has passed away at the age of 88.

It's sad, he is my favorite composer. Although he will never be inducted into the HOF, if I were a voter I would defend his case. The history of The NFL cannot be told without NFL Films, and Spence is still famous (albeit maybe few know his name, but his music lives on).
