I understand Johnny Lujack is still among the living. I am wondering if anyone knows how he is doing and whether he is accessible? The reason I ask is my father had an 8x10 signed by him in 1944 while in the hospital recovering from polio. I have a replica leather mini helmet I was hoping to get signed by Lujack and hopefully share the story with him. Anyone here have any recent contact with Lujack?
Thanks!

Re: John Lujack
According to the article below (from last month), he appears to be doing great--considering he's 90. Back in July 2014, he had some serious spinal surgery that he needed or else he risked paralysis. He came through it fine.

Lujack still holds the Bears franchise record for most passing yards in a game, with 468 yards in a 1949 game. Its the oldest single game passing/rushing/receiving franchise record in the NFL.

He is also the oldest living hall of fame member.
