Great player cam, but I hate all the preening. Remember all the sullen press conferences when the team was losing a few years back?
Noted this a couple weeks ago, why when Stewart RUNS for a TD does Cam take the ball into the crowd. Cannot imagine what a Lambert or Butkus would do to this guy.
"Not much. He's the same size they were."
It's not the size of the dog in the fight; it's the size of the fight in the dog.
Great player or not - it would be leading the Cam to the slaughter.

Yes, of course. Anything that came before is better. Anything that came later is worse.
Seriously, gentlemen. Isn't it time we put away this nonsense?

I read this hours ago and I just now stopped laughing. The words "Patriots" and "class" don't belong in the same zip code, let alone the same sentence. It's even funnier if you read it in Donald Trump's voice. "Our ball deflators, signal sealers and headset scramblers are the classiest in the NFL. Perhaps in all of sports."oldecapecod11 wrote:Patriots radiate class at every level...
You don't hear Belichick crying like teardrops tomlin...
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... have-back/
Tom Brady doesn't sing the coin flip blues like whining aaron...
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... pass-rush/
And here's a few pellets for the stats rats...
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... son-stats/
The Patriots win by the rules and lose by the rules and do both with remarkably good grace.
Then there are the fans, who are the exact opposite of class. Sending Stephen Gostkowski tweets saying they hope he dies FOR MISSING KICKS. They're even calling radio shows criticizing their fearless leader Herr Belichick. Take it away, LT. http://www.totalprosports.com/2016/01/2 ... ing-video/
And nothing says "class" quite like pointing out how classy you are. Never change Pats fans. But mainly stay classy.

Belichick is the same guy who walked off the field without shaking the other coach's hand after a big loss. I see most have forgotten about that.MatthewToy wrote:I read this hours ago and I just now stopped laughing. He did a better job this year, though.

I don't much care for Newton making the first down signal after running for a first down but most players do it these days including other quarterbacks. I wish the league could penalize players five yards for impersonating referees. But then we would hear "No Fun League" comments and a lot of complaints.NWebster wrote:Great player cam, but I hate all the preening. As for the post-touchdown actions, *Tom Brady usually yells and spikes the football with authority. Newton smiles and gives footballs to little kids. The former sounds worse but the latter is what gets people mad. That seems odd.
*I liked it when in the playoff game vs Kansas City, Brady got roughed up when scoring and lost the ball and we were spared his Hulk routine.

Hmmm, that does seem odd. What could be the difference between the two? Hmmm...I wonder.JWL wrote:Tom Brady usually yells and spikes the football with authority. Newton smiles and gives footballs to little kids. The former sounds worse but the latter is what gets people mad. That seems odd.

It's true. On every level, the New England Patriots have a lot of class.
And all it is third

Didn't Ben get six games (reduced to four) over all that stuff? And that was under the pre-Ray Rice tariff, where Josh Brent got something like ten games for killing his teammate.
