If those Buddy Ryan Eagles were able to win playoff games and further establish themselves as a Super Bowl threat, they may very well be these current-day Panthers. Both defenses are very front-heavy each with a lone bright spot in the secondary - Eric Allen and Josh Norman respectively. The QB (Cunningham and Cam) is clearly the key playmaker on offense whom all DCs must always account for. The TE (Keith Jackson, Greg Olsen) the QBs go-to guy.
And didn't Ron Rivera play under Buddy?
