Tony Dungy, Steelers quarterback
I saw on twitter tonight that the NFL on NBC showed a picture of Tony Dungy at the University of Minnesota where he played quarterback. Of course the Steelers changed him to cornerback. But he got in a game at Houston in 1977 as the emergency QB. He went 3 for 8. I've never seen any photos or video of this. I've looked several times. Even in 1977 there had to be many photographers for the teams, league and newspapers. And at least 2 NFL Films cameramen. Has anybody seen Dungy behind center in this game or can anyone post something?

This was part of Dungy's inauspicious start

Re: Tony Dungy, Steelers quarterback
I thought NFL Films used some footage of Dungy at QB in their Matchup of the Millennium video, where they spliced footage of the 60's Packers, 70's Steelers, 80's 49ers and 90's Cowboys together. That's altered gootage, of course. But the film of Dungy himself is authentic.

Watching the NFL Films Lost Treasures episode about Bum Phillips. They talked about a Steelers-Oilers game in 1977 where there were a ton of injuries. Low and behold there's a shot of Steelers emergency QB Tony Dungy fumbling a snap. I haven't watched this in years and completely forgot about it.
