Those three turnovers within the first three minutes of last night's Colts/Steelers game inspires this thread/question.

There were four turnovers in a span of less than two minutes in the 1975 Steelers Raiders AFC Championship game. Mike Collier muffed a punt and Oakland recovered with 3:14 to play in the third period. Two plays later Pete Banaszak fumbled a screen pass and Lambert recovered. Two plays after that was the infamous clotheline of Swann by Jack Tatum, and the Raiders recovered, and two plays later, Clarence Davis was running with the ball when he was hit by JT Thomas and the ball came loose and Lambert recovered another fumble with 1:23 left in the quarter.

The frigid weather may have played a big part in those miscues, since I think it was between only about 10-20 degrees.

There were four turnovers in a span of about 3:10 seconds in the 4th quarter of Super Bowl XXVII. Stretching it a little further, there were 5 (or 6?) in a 5 minute span.
Frank Reich was intercepted by Thomas Everett, who returned it 22 yards to the Bills' 8. Emmitt Smith scored on a third down draw play. Two plays later, backup center Mitch Frerrotte snapped the ball high over Reich's head. He got a hand on it, but Kenny Norton scooped up the ball and ran 9 yards for a TD. On Buffalo's next offensive play, Steve Tasker caught a 16 yard pass, but fumbled. Steve Beuerlein went in at QB for Dallas, and fumbled the snap on his second play.

A few minutes later, the Leon Lett play occurred. Not sure if that counts as one turnover or two.
