Re: Who is on your NFL broadcast “dream team?”
Charlie Jones was my favorite play-by-play announcer. I also liked Verne Lundquist's delivery. As far as analysts, Merlin Olson was my favorite. It's an unpopular opinion but I think Troy Aikman brings great knowledge and opinions to the broadcasts. My favorite team was probably the MNF crew of Al M...

Back in 2007, the MNF mud game won by the Steelers 3-0 over the Dolphins, was also completed in just 2 hours and 35 minutes.

Re: History of the NFL league offices
I found a small note in the L.A. Times that listed Joseph T. Labrum as the editor of the 1952 NFL Record and Rules Manual. Labrum was the NFL's director of publicity from 1947 to 1961.

Re: History of the NFL league offices
I did a bit of research on this a few years ago. Here is the old blog post with street addresses and other trivia:

Re: small towns
Then again, you got Halifax and Mississauga with populations of 400,000+ and 700,000+ respectively and they very likely will never get a CFL franchise. Same with London or Waterloo Ontario at 500,000+ apiece. How large is the population of Quebec City? They have one of the top Canadian college foot...

Ah, too bad, I thought maybe that was the data you needed.
I checked into the Fulton website and it appears they don't have any Buffalo newspaper pages from September of 1963 uploaded yet.

Re: Game books update
I've gotten a game book (actually a stat sheet was all they had) for the 9/9/1963 Bills-Chargers game about from the Chargers PR guy a month ago. The stat sheet was the same thing the Bills had; the game book wasn't in those CD's with all the Bills game books that I got at the meeting in Buffalo la...

During the 1991 season the San Diego Chargers and Seattle Seahawks met in Week 9, both teams had a bye the next week, and then they met again in Week 11.

Re: Carolina Hurricane owner bailed out AAF
Historically, it's never been a given that the NFL would buy someone else's minor league. They created their own developmental league when they operated NFL Europe. Before 1970, a few of the NFL and AFL teams had a farm team until the league owners prohibited it. Wasn't the World League of American...

Nope, it's all free to view! They have some other interesting stuff uploaded as well, but the game films are certainly the gold.nicefellow31 wrote:Just wanted to clarify, you need a subscription to view?
