Re: 2024 NFL Playoff Predictions
At least to a certain extent, Darnold lived up to his draft status for one season and the pressure of these last two games had to overwhelm him. Losing hurts, but he has to feel keyed up for what might have been, and I feel he will try to come back to the team. If the Vikes bring him back and he ca...

Re: Clark Kent Wild Card Weekend
I know Mayfield had another great season JameisBrownston, but sometimes you never know with him. Once again in the playoffs, he has another huge turnover that helps decide the game. Other than that fumble though, he played well and had his best year in football. Fans were hoping the team might face...

Re: lame streaks
As a Bucs fan, I promise we would've been outraged if Bowles wouldn't give Mike his record and his money on that last play. That man is going to be our first ever offensive HOFer and we want him to retire here. He turned down a fat stack from the Chiefs to stay, loyalty has to go both ways. Always ...

Re: lame streaks
Ones were there was actual action even if set up like the Mike Evans catch in garbage time are one thing. Keeping an iron man streak alive by playing one snap and leaving is a little much.

lame streaks
When a guy takes one snap to keep a streak going you have to admit it is as lame as flopping. Cal Ripken Jr. never took the field in the top half of the first inning of a home game and then took himself out after the first pitch. Eli Manning played in the games during his long streak. The NFL doesn'...

Re: Greatest regular season games of all tme
12/16/79 Washington Redskins (10-5) at Dallas Cowboys (10-5) The game had wild swings. The Redskins led 17-0. Then the Cowboys led 21-17. Then the Redskins led 34-21. Then the Cowboys won 35-34. Had the Redskins won the game they would have been the 1 seed in the NFC playoffs. Because they lost the ...

Re: NFL and Christmas Day
This year really was gross. Special Saturday games for the teams playing on Christmas. Those games were not played with the normal rest time. Then four games after playing those games, they had to play games on Wednesday. Those teams will then have extra rest when they play in the final regular seas...

Re: Will Now Be The Time For Jim Tyrer?
Look at Darren Sharper. He is probably a borderline HOF candidate but once he was found guilty of despicable acts, his name totally dropped off the HOF radar. Nobody is being removed from the HOF but people found guilty of heinous actions can be kept out. My comment is not for or against Tyrer. I am...

Re: Least favorite season your team had?
I didn't enjoy wanting to root for my team to lose every game except one in 2020 (only because I didn't want a winless season; 1-15 was acceptable but not 0-16). Then they won 2 games which then further made it an annoying season. Alas, Trevor Lawrence has not turned out to be amazing. Still, though...

Re: Fiasco: Aaron Rodgers and the 2024 New York Jets
Though it would be tempting to join another team, I still feel Rodgers will be back with the Jets and another HC. Great QBs dont want to end their careers like this. Besides, he already has Davante Adams with him, so might as well go out guns-a-blazin in 2025. I think it would be most advantageous ...
