IMO, he is HoVG. Stafford was a good player on a lot of BAD Lions teams. For the HoF, the accolades aren't there, especially when you compare him to the best QBs of his era. Is he really as good as or better than his peers, like: Brady Brees Eli Manning Roethlisberger Rivers Rodgers Matt Ryan Russel...

I always looked at it that a team has a player's rights when they are drafted, but that player is technically not on the roster until they sign a contract, thus they cannot participate in practices, games, etc.

^I think for an entire career, Vinatieri was better than Tucker is... even though at this moment, Tucker is still playing.
