Re: Players who played H.S., college, pro ball in same city
Most of Curly Lambeau's football career (player, coach, manager) was all in Green Bay with the exception of one year at Notre Dame. A few more: Derrick Brooks - Florida Dick Butkus - Illinois Archie Griffin - Ohio Charles Rogers - Michigan I'm also pretty sure that Paul Brown spent all of his coachi...

Yeah, the lists certainly leans towards historically significant games, as opposed to actual great games. I'd say unless you were a Bears fan the '40 NFL Championship was anything but a great game.
A big omission IMO is the '45 NFL Championship. That was both a good game and historically significant.

Re: Six interceptions in a game (caught, not thrown)
This is an excellent find. Thank you for sharing Wendell. When you look back at the old game recaps Milt's name shows up quite a bit. Leading me to believe that he was one of the most underrated players of the 1920s.

Re: "Ang" and the AFL
I find it funny that you won't answer my question. But if somebody - especially anybody in the current admin - ignored your question you'd have a fit.

Re: "Ang" and the AFL
Read carefully and answer.
What exactly did the current PFRA administration do to YOU to cause YOU such pain?
In more blunt words. Why are you always bitching?
This isn't about Ken. It's about you.

OCC, What exactly is your beef here? What exactly did the current PFRA administration do to YOU to cause YOU such pain? Be direct, please! No more riddles. I mean, you complain so much it has gotten to the point of comedy. When a new topic is posted my first thought is what small, petty thing will O...

Wikipedia doesn't exactly tell you who writes the articles, but some of the page's initial edits were written by User:SugnuSicilianu who identifies himself as Angelo.
He's done a lot of great work and he certainly has a lot to be proud of.

Re: "Ang" and the AFL
Mr. Coniglio is certainly an AFL expert. But did he really have to write his own Wikipedia page to prove that? Is this a common practice for most researchers?

Re: '93 LA Raiders
The temperature at kickoff was 0°F with a nasty wind chill of -20°F. By halftime the temp. dropped to -1°F making it the only subzero-weather game of the '90s. By any measure it a was brutal day. The previous week the Raiders played in 73-degree weather at the L.A. Coliseum. Not quite the downswing ...

Re: '93 LA Raiders
I thought the '90 Raiders were better. The '93 Raiders had their moments, but for the most part they were living on the edge. Nine of their 11 victories were by a touchdown or less. I also remember them laying an egg in Green Bay late in the year. Their offense had only one dimension: Hostetler to B...
