I am not sure, but maybe Bobby Ross is the only coach to come from college and have a winning record in his first year in the NFL? I know Ross handled Special Teams for Marv Levy in Kansas City for a few years. Yep, Dan Henning did not have any winning seasons as an NFL head coach.

Regarding the University of Maryland during that stretch, their one starting quarterback who did not play professional football was Dan Henning, whose father coached the Falcons and Chargers.

If my math is correct, the Tisch family paid $356 million (2025 adjusted) in 1991 for half of the Giant franchise. A member of the Koch family paid $1 billion for ten percent of the franchise last week. Whew.

I think this season marks seventy five years since the Los Angeles Rams' prolific offense set records. I think their biggest one is average points per game with 38.8 points. Are there any others out there that have lasted 3/4 of a century?
