Re: Packers uniforms 1956-1959
Hate to put a damper on the love fest but if you look at the 1966 uniforms and the 2014 uniforms there are more than just subtle differences. The helmet and color scheme are the same but the uniforms have changed and in my opinion they currently are plainer than they used to be.

Re: Jerry Rice admits to using stickum during career.
I think this is pretty funny. Would using stickum have helped him catch a few passes? Sure but he had to be open and get his hands on the ball to catch it. It doesn't act as a magnet.

Re: Roster limits
Looking at the link posted for the NFL Archives leads to this question was the "taxi squad" something that was sanctioned and monitored by the league? Meaning was there a limit of players that could be on it? Could they be activated from the squad or deactivated directly to the squad? Loo...

Re: Roman Gabriel's 1973 Season
McCormack did try to follow the Allen model, having coached under Allen in DC. In addition to gabriel, Mike traded draft picks during his tenure in philly for bill bergey, norm bulaich, mike boryla, jerry patton, wes chesson, tom roussel, john tarver, randy jackson, john niland, james mcalister, ho...

Re: Duane Thomas fumble in SB V
I just watched the actual TV broadcast of Duane Thomas' fumble at the goal-line in Super Bowl V. Thomas is spinning toward the endzone with Colt players hanging on him...Mike Curtis and Jim Duncan force the ball out...Dave Manders is laying on the ground and the ball appears to go directly to him.....

Re: Roman Gabriel's 1973 Season
He may have said that but other than Gabriel the only other veterans of note were Marlin McKeever and Kermit Alexander. Alexander was brought in by the previous staff in 1972. Actually Ed Khayat brought more verterans in than McCormick. In 1972 he had Chuck Allen, Houston Antwine, Don Hultz & Je...
