Re: 2025 NFL season, Wks #10 thru #13

....Can anyone remember a play that had three turnovers? And that goes with my question about "two turnovers on one play by the same player." Both of those are from the same play... I wonder how much beer was spilled in that ~15 second time span. (I'm hoping for answers to the first two q...

Re: 2025 NFL season, Wks #10 thru #13

Two turnovers (an interception and a fumble) on one play by one player (Jalen Hurts).
Pretty sure I haven't seen that before... has it been done before?

And (per Buck) 5 turnovers in "the last" 11 plays.
A game worth seeing if only for a unique level of ineptitude...

Re: 2026 Hall of Fame Seniors - Last 52 Ranked by Position Group

I dont feel Seifert or the team believed that Craig's knee could recover properly. After eight years, bitter reality had set in, the Niners were gonna give up on him a year early than a year late. Like Foreman, Holmes, Davis, Sims and Andrews, it seemed to end too soon. The word around here was tha...

Re: 2026 Hall of Fame Seniors - Last 52 Ranked by Position Group

....Roger Craig was the more significant player, from impact, eye test, those things. I think his PSI ranks were very high, number one as his position at least 3 times ... top FB and a top RB, though in a two back set not a ton of difference In other word,s Rathman was different than he was. So som...

Re: Coaches with no championships in the NFL/AFL/AAFC

Technically, Bud Grant did win an NFL Championship.
The first four Super Bowls (pre-merger) were world championship games between the champions of the NFL and AFL.
They were even called the AFL-NFL World Championship Game.
Grant's Vikings were the 1969 NFL Champions.

Re: 1,000-yard streaks

Yeah, he's the one. It was kind of a big deal at the time, but he never came close again and the accomplishment seemed to lose its luster. I think that may well depend on whether or not you saw him play. His incredible three year run (1971-73) was when I started to watch and understand football and...

Re: 1,000-yard streaks

Two guys you don't hear about very much these days. Taylor, I guess because it seems he was never very well liked, even by guys on his own team. As for Simpson, he WAS well-liked, but sometime around 30 years ago people's opinions seemed to change. Can't imagine why. Deserved or not Taylor was call...

Re: 1,000-yard streaks

I've found a fun trivia question for the casual NFL fan to be: Who was the first player to rush for 1,000 yards? Who was the first to do it twice? Who was the first to do it two years in a row? OK... that's three questions... but five times in a row? I don't know but will look forward to hearing the...
