I know I've voted for him several times...
Let's get him in this year, people!

(I guess he's been a victim of anti-early-AFL "prejudice?")

I'm holding my breath before breaking out the champagne.

Re: Teams with more than one Hall-of-Famer with the same jersey number
I remember that Joe Schmidt allowed Pat Swilling to wear his retired No. 56 for a couple seasons, 1993 & 1994. Many thought it was kind of sacrilegious at the time. Along similar lines, Len Dawson would not allow his number to be unretired so that Joe Montana could wear his usual 16 when he wen...

I love that "Enforcer" is a position on this team! Who do you think might've been the second string "Enforcer?" Still smiling about that. For the 1920s? That's above my pay grade ... maybe one of the wrestlers - - Gus Sonnenberg! (Really I have no idea - maybe Frank Nesser) I wa...

I love that "Enforcer" is a position on this team! It is odd that Wilbur "Pete" Henry is listed as Wilbur under Tackle and Pete under Punter... that might be confusing to some. I made the chart and that is how the name appeared in the books ... I suppose I could change it cor cl...

Re: Elam Ending in the NFL
Or... they could do it like we did in our sandlot games/leagues... First team to three scores (we didn't have field goals) won but you had to win by two scores. Mismatches were over in 20 minutes but evenly matched games could go back and forth for hours ! Sometimes we'd play one or two games on any...

Re: My 5 this years
If I recall correctly (and my memory isn't what it once was) I nominated Hardman last year and he didn't make it past the committee to the final ballot.
