Re: Underrated "A Football Life" opportunities
How about John "Red" Cochran, who was a part of 7 NFL Championships - 1 as a player, 5 as an assistant coach and 1 as a scout? He played for Curly Lambeau at the Chicago Cardinals and coached under Vince Lombardi at the Packers (having previously been an assistant coach on the Lions last C...

Re: Next rule change
I wonder if they will consider allowing 1 (or more) players being in motion towards the line of scrimmage at the snap of the ball (a la the CFL) ?

Gamebooks - Thanks
I just wanted to post a thankyou to everybody who has worked on obtaining missing gamebooks (and reconstructing others). I've only recently had time to re-review the Gamebooks section of the Website and found a number of previously missing gamebooks. I can see from the minutes of the latest meeting ...

Re: 1965 NFL Championship Gamebook
We do now have a copy of the 1965 Championship play-by-play which I am sure will be uploaded in the next update of the Gamebooks section. Currently undertaking a check of all Gamebooks (which are missing and which we need better copies of). If you message me with your email address I will send it o...

1965 NFL Championship Gamebook
Hello. In a previous thread (which I can no longer find, hence me creating this new thread), I believe that somebody said that they had a Gamebook for the 1965 NFL Championship Game. I don't believe that it's been posted in the Gamebooks section of the site (member's area) yet, so I wondered if it w...

Re: Game books update
Just an update on the gamebooks search: I have received from the Packers every gamebook they have from the 1960's. They were only missing 5 gamebooks from 1960 and 1 gamebook from 1966, so overall not bad, as those are now the only gamebooks we're missing from 1960 to present. I've also received fr...

Re: Packers Play by Plays - Art Daley
Apologies, but I can't find the original thread that talked about this. Somebody on the forum was collecting all of the Packers unofficial "Play by Plays" done by the great Packers writer Art Daley - I think they were being sent by Eric Goska. I wondered how far this had progressed? Wheth...

Re: Black & Blue Chapter of the PFRA
Ryan,
I would certainly be interested in this. As somebody who seems to spend his life working on Packers history, the idea of being involved in a Black and Blue group sounds great to me.
