Re: 2025 NFL season predictions
Looks like CSKreager was the only one of us who predicted the Commanders regression. For completeness, there was some SB-only picks and some random comments/predictions, obviously no one had SEA and/or NE and any specific comments that were on-point I think have already been noted. Of those that di...

Re: 2025 NFL season predictions
Looks like no one saw this Super Bowl matchup coming before the season.
74_75_78_79_ was the only one to have the Patriots even making the playoffs.
I was the only one to have the Seahawks making the playoffs.

Re: Rams/Seahawks history
Further thoughts? Can anyone pump up their since-2002 existence together? I'm sure there's enough, or maybe more than that, that can be said. Since 2003, including this season: 20 of 23 seasons at least one of them made the playoffs. 15 of 23 seasons one of them won the division (SEA 10 / Rams 5) 5...

Re: 2025 Divisional Round Weekend
Good points, JWL, but Stroud was lucky he didnt approach Hardy interception numbers by the 3rd Quarter. The Patriots dropped a number of possible interceptions. I was noting on this thread itself his inaccuracy before he threw his first interception. Mills was 3-0 for them this year and could have ...

Re: Who was better: Bill Cowher or Mike Tomlin?
I looked fairly fast but the only season of Cowhers 15 seasons where that division had 3 teams above .500 was 2000 while Tomlin had 7 of 19 seasons with the division having 3 teams higher than .500 Some of that is different division scheduling, and some is 17-game schedule. For example, three Cowhe...

Re: Who was better: Bill Cowher or Mike Tomlin?
By percentage more likely to win the division with Cowher (just under half of Cowher's era it was statistically harder to win the division.) Slightly more likely to "make the playoffs" with Tomlin (just under 1/3rd of the Tomlin era it was statistically easier to make the playoffs.) With T...

First thing I saw was the 1984 49ers W/L record. Clicked out after that.

Re: Matthew Stafford: HOVG, or HOF?
This season? They've been consumed by injuries for just shy of a decade. At some point, the standard eliminates the allotment of "what ifs" playable.JuggernautJ wrote: ↑Sat Nov 15, 2025 7:09 pmI truly wonder what the NFC West would've looked like had San Francisco not been consumed by injury after injury this season.
