Re: Negro League stats
Wasn't giving the "new" Browns the old Browns' name/uniform/history a condition of Cleveland ponying up for an expansion club? Sort of a "we're sorry" gift from the league to the city? Whatever the reason, I agree it was nonsensical. The new Washington Senators began play the sa...

Re: Negro League stats
I don’t see anyone in this discussion saying that Otto Graham’s AAFC statistics shouldn’t be considered alongside his NFL statistics, but lots of folks are saying Negro League statistics shouldn’t be considered alongside MLB (separate American and National leagues, BTW) statistics. Do we lump George...

The Greatest Comeback in NFL History Saturday, December 17, 2022 US Bank Stadium Minneapolis, Minnesota Down 33-0 at halftime, Kirk Cousins leads the Minnesota Vikings to a 39-36 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in overtime. Biggest surprise (even bigger than the comeback) was the fact that very ...

Re: Kirk Cousins (R.I.P. Vikings career?) - How did he do?
What do you see as a mechanical problem? If you feel the ball comes off his hand in a funny-looking manner I would agree but that's not really a mechanical problem. Philip Rivers and Bernie Kosar also threw passes in a weird-looking manner and they were good. Like them, Penix Jr is not going to run...
